About US Lender Metrics

US Lender Metrics shows which lenders actually fund small businesses, in which places, at which loan sizes and in which industries, using the government's own records.

Most business owners find an SBA lender by walking into the nearest bank branch. But SBA lending is concentrated: a small number of lenders make most of the loans, and each one has a clear pattern. Some make many small Express loans. Others focus on $1 million to $5 million acquisitions. Some regularly fund startups, and some almost never do.

We publish that pattern for every state and every active SBA lender, joined to each bank's regulatory filings, so borrowers, brokers and advisors can start with lenders that already fund deals like theirs.

We are not a lender or a loan broker, we don't take referral fees from lenders, and rankings can't be bought.
